Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones (born September 3 1976) is an American actress. She is best known for playing Megan Dennison, on The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester, on The Bold and the Beautiful. On the HBO show True Blood, she played her character Daphne. Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She started her career as teacher in Maury County where she taught children in kindergarten and Reading. She then got married Brent Jones, her UT Martin love and moved in Thompsons Station in 1998. Her first teaching job was in Bethesda Elementary, where she taught fourth grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she was teaching while receiving her Master of Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped out of the classroom after the family welcomed their son Baylor into their family in the year 2000. Ashley has been spending the past fifteen years working on the growth of the kids in her local church as well as in her community. She has also served in various capacities. Ashley has been a leader in the Preschool and Student Ministry in Thompson Station Church for over 13 years. Ashley was a three-year resident at the home of her children, where she taught them. During their home schooling years the children took part in a home school tutoring session which Ashley was also a teacher of History for Kindergarten as well as 1st grade. While she enjoyed homeschooling and spending time with her family, God demonstrated to their family the need for them to go back full-time in school. Brent and Ashley have five kids. Silas and Eliza as well as Cruz all go to GCA. Baylor is a GCA graduate is a student at and play baseball in UT Martin. Callan as well as a GCA graduate studies at Western Kentucky University.
